Casa cassano was, in the second half of 19th century, an hunting cottage, at the time when the mighty Royal palace and the old Railway made the city a touristic resort.

Portici
Portici rises at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. The city was destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius, in 1631. Subsequently, the city has totally been rebuilt. This city flourished during the Reign of Charles III Bourbon. He argued the building of the Royal Palace - Villa Reale - in 1738. Today, this palace is turned into the faculty of Agriculture.
