The town is perched on a high hill, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and orchards.It has a typical medieval, fan-like layout, with the castle at its centre, with parts of the surrounding walls and the relative gateways - Porta Francesca, Porta Di Santo, Porta Ratello and Porta dell'Olmo.Arab conquests and the crusades had an additional influence on the architecture and you can still see the bell-towers of the Churches of Ave Gratia Plena and St. Sebastian.There also is a natural fauna oasis for moments of relax in strict contact with the nature.
